The School of Physics at the University of Melbourne has a vacancy for a Research Fellow in Nano-optics, under the supervision of Prof Crozier. Recent activities by the Crozier Group include infrared photodetectors and modulators based on two dimensional materials (including graphene), dielectric metasurfaces, and optical nanotweezers. The Research Fellow will design and simulate nano-optical devices on one or more of these topics, realise them experimentally by nanofabrication, and develop new methods to characterize them optically and/or electrically.
