The Lester B. Pearson International Scholarships at the University of Toronto provide an unparalleled opportunity for outstanding international students to study at one of the world’s best universities in one of the world’s most multicultural cities. The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Program was established by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs to enable French higher education institutions to attract top foreign students to enroll in their masters and PhD programs.

Master’s degree applicants must first apply to a graduate progam before they will be considered for the Mastercard Foundations Scholars Program. Not all degree programs are eligible. Here is a list of Master’s Degree programs.

DAAD Scholarships – MSc. Agricultural Economics

In collaboration with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), a limited number of scholarships are available for MSc. Agricultural Economics at the University of Hohenheim under the special initiative “Development-Related Postgraduate Courses” (EPOS). Funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), Commonwealth Master’s Scholarships enable talented and motivated individuals to gain the knowledge and skills required for sustainable development, and are aimed at those who could not otherwise afford to study in the UK.

Applications for University Recommended Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship 2024/2025 for International Students are now open.

The number of applicants to be nominated by the Graduate School of Science to the University of Tokyo, as well as the number to be subsequently nominated by the University of Tokyo to MEXT, shall be finalized after the application period has closed. 

The University of Manitoba offers a financial aid program called the International Undergraduate Student Bursary to help international students who are enrolled in the university’s undergraduate programs.

Merit Scholarship for Foreign Students (PBEEE) program rules

In support of the Québec government’s science policy, the Merit Scholarship for Foreign Students program has the following objectives:

• Support the internationalization of research activities in Québec’s higher education institutions;
• Attract top foreign researchers and students and promote international recognition of Québec universities and College Centres for the Transfer of Technologies (CCTT);
• Create cultural links and pave the way for the setting up of joint scientific research projects.

The Fonds de recherche du Québec – Nature et technologies (FRQNT) is responsible for managing the program. It was commissioned by the Ministère de l’Enseignement supérieur du Québec (MES) which provides the funding.

About The Gates Scholarship

The Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA) is a collaboration between the Agency for Science, Technology & Research (A*STAR), the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), the National University of Singapore (NUS), the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) and the Singapore Management University (SMU).

PhD training is carried out in English at a student’s chosen lab at A*STAR research institutes and NTU/NUS/SUTD/SMU. Upon successful completion, students are conferred a PhD degree by either NTU, NUS, SUTD or SMU.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to conduct cutting-edge research in the following areas: methane emissions from cattle, beef production, and fecal microbiota.

We are seeking a highly qualified MSc graduate student to work on:
– Virtual fencing technologies to alter the spatio-temporal distribution and forage utilization by beef cattle while grazing on pasture so as to ensure riparian area (wetland) conservation.
– This work builds on ongoing research done in 2022 and 2023 demonstrating that VF technologies provide a novel tool to control cattle geolocation and facilitate rotational grazing of summer pastures.
– Monitoring of outcomes in the field include (but are not limited to) cattle spatial distribution, grazing behavior, forage utilization patterns, and riparian area condition/health.
