Postdoctoral Scholar in Machine Learning and Computational Biology

Child Care Card

Harvard is seeking applicants for a postdoctoral position in Machine Learning and Computational Microscopy. A postdoctoral position is currently available at the Center for Advanced Imaging at Harvard with Dr. Dushan Wadduwage to develop novel computational imaging technologies for microscopy. We seek life and physical scientists with a background in machine learning, computational imaging, or both.

Research will focus on designing and developing novel computational imaging methods hand in hand with novel optical microscopy architectures. We work on optimizing these two aspects to build instruments capable of enabling new biological experiments. Candidates will work with an interdisciplinary research team of microscopists, computer scientists, and biologists from Harvard and MIT.

Basic Qualifications A PhD in computer science, physics or a related field, by the time the appointment begins, and an interest in bio-imaging are required. Previous research experience related to optics or biology is an advantage.
