Harvard is seeking applicants for a postdoctoral position in Chromatin dynamics and organization. A postdoctoral position is currently available at the Center for Advanced Imaging at Harvard with Dr. Andrew Seeber, PhD to develop novel microscopy methods to study chromatin biology in living cells. We seek life and physical scientists with backgrounds related to live cell imaging, genetic engineering, chromatin biology and optics.
Research will focus on designing and developing cell systems to study chromatin biology in the context of DNA damage. This will involve genetic manipulation of human cell lines and development of microscopy assays as well as image processing pipelines. Candidates will work with an interdisciplinary research team of microscopists, computer scientists, and biologists from Harvard at the Center for Advanced Imaging.
