One scholarship of £2,000 will be awarded to an applicant accepted onto a one year Masters programme within the School of History, Classics and Archaeology.

The scholarship will have a value of £2,000 and is tenable for one academic year.
Eligibility
The scholarship will be awarded to students who are accepted for admission on a full-time basis for a postgraduate one year Masters programme of study offered on campus by the School of History, Classics and Archaeology, although preference will be given to those studying History.

Applicants should already have been offered a place at the University of Edinburgh and should have firmly accepted that offer or be intending to do so.
Criteria
The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit. Candidates must have, or expect to obtain, a UK first-class honours degree or the overseas equivalent thereof.
