School Sports Coach- Full Time

Job Purpose

City in The Community Foundation are looking for a full-time school sports coach to assist with the delivery of the School Sports Programme.  This position will be 37.5 hours per week.

Applicants must possess a passion for sport and ideally have experience of working within a school environment delivering towards the national curriculum.  They should also have the desire to develop their own skills and knowledge in a high performance working environment.

The full-time role will consist of planning and delivering practical sports sessions in both a school and community environment. As well as delivering outstanding sessions, the successful applicant will also be expected to maintain and develop excellent relationships with schools and with the wider CITC team.

Reporting to the Director of Talent Management and Development Pathways, this individual will support the whole of global football, leading the operations and administrative support functions for the department. Key accountabilities for this role include but are not limited to;

We are currently recruiting an experienced Ticketing Compliance Officer on full time basis to join the Supporter Services team in Manchester.  This is a 9-month fixed term contract position covering maternity leave.

The Ticketing Compliance Officer will proactively investigate seasoncard, membership and ticket mise-use/fraud together with all aspects of ticket touting to ensure the Club’s terms and conditions are adhered to and that crimes under the Serious and Organised Crime Act 2005 are minimised.   The successful candidate will also place an integral role during matchday operations by carrying out investigations as required.

Key tasks will include:

  • Investigate breaches of the Club’s ticketing terms and conditions;
  • Monitor the Club’s internal ticketing system for fraudulent applications;
  • Monitor social media for fraudulent sales and those in breach of the ticketing terms and conditions;
  • Monitor the internet for fraudulent activity and those which breach the ticketing
  • terms and conditions; and
  • Undertake investigations in relation to all aspects of crime committed under the Serious and Organised Crime Act 2005.

The successful candidate must have awareness of the Serious and Organised Crime Act 2005 and previous experience working in a similar role in a sporting environment investigating fraudulent activity in relation to tickets, seasoncards and memberships.  We are also looking for an individual who is proactive in their approach and flexible to ultimately minimise the level of crime and fraudulent ticket activity.

  • Researching key categories, geographies and companies to identify strategic fit with CFG

This role is intended to be an excellent introduction into the commercial drivers of a football business, particularly within the Partnership Sales function.  As well as being critical to the success of the department as a whole, the role is an ideal springboard for a successful career within CFG and the sports industry.

The ideal candidate will need to have a good understanding of the sports industry and market research. It is essential this person has strong analytical and communication skills, and that they can think creatively, whilst working to tight deadlines.

We are currently recruiting an experienced Disability Liaison Officer on a full time basis to join the Supporter Services team in Manchester.

The Disability Liaison Officer will proactively support the Disability Access Manager in implementing a world leading supporter/customer service strategy across the Club together with delivering the day to day operation within all stadia for all teams, for the Club’s disabled supporters, staff and visitors providing support to ensure that their access requirements are met.

Key tasks will include:

  • Up to date knowledge of existing legislation including the Equality Act 2010, accessible stadia guidance, new legislation & good practice guidance;
  • Assist the Supporter Services team to resolve queries and manage issues and complaints for all enquiries associated with the Club’s disabled supporters;
  • Key point of contact between the Club’s Disabled Supporter’s Association, the Club and its disabled supporters to ensure on-going access improvements are made to the Club’s facilities, systems and services;
  • Providing guidance on the equal management of disabled supporters tickets; and
  • Manage the allocation of disabled parking areas on match days.

The successful candidate must have awareness of disability legislation and providing an accessible stadium and Club premises. They must also have an understanding of customer/supporter sales & service processes and procedures and use of ticketing & CRM systems. It is important that applicants have strong communication and presentation skills and are customer focused with exception customer sales & service skills. Significant experience within the sports/entertainment industry at a large capacity venue is essential, along with experience in managing diverse and sometimes conflicting stakeholders.  Finally, we are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic, proactive and engaging.

The Manchester City Content team have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Content Producer to produce entertaining and engaging video content, primarily for the Club’s Digital Youth platforms and wider digital estate to help grow the Clubs fan base within the domestic and international kids market (primarily ages 6-9, secondary 9-12).

The significant aspect of this role will be repurposing adult facing content for a child-centric audience, with some original content production. Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:

  • Creative development and direction.
  • Shooting on Sony FS5/7, DJI Osmo and Go Pro’s or equivalent to broadcast standard
  • Excellent editing skills on Adobe Premiere
  • After Effects knowledge is a necessity.

  • To ensure the control of all department equipment ensuring that breakages are kept to a minimum and that the misuse of establishment property does not occur.
  • To ensure appropriate paperwork i.e. Goods Received, Temperature record and fridge record sheets, HACCP and COSSH are completed.
  • To support the Head Chef with rotas, and any other administration duties.
  • To attend weekly meetings to discuss forthcoming business.
  • To ensure that all menu planning is produced within given time scale and fully costed ensuring operating targets are met.
  • To ensure hygiene audits are carried out regularly and to carry out six monthly risk assessments in all kitchen areas.
  • To ensure that employee payroll is kept within the operating targets as set.
  • Assist in maximising sales and reducing costs throughout the operation.
