Scholarships for INTO University of East Anglia students

INTO University of East Anglia offers a range of generous scholarships. All students who have applied for places on relevant courses are welcome to apply, no matter what your background or financial circumstance.

Scholarships for pathway programmes

International Foundation scholarship

INTO and the University of East Anglia are offering scholarships for students starting courses on all International Foundation pathways in September 2018.

Course/s: All International Foundation pathways
Start dates September 2018
Amount: 100% International Foundation tuition fee (50% of this amount will be deducted from the International Foundation tuition fee and 50% will be deducted from the first year of tuition fees at UEA upon progression)
Availability: 10
Deadline: 30 May 2018 (for decision by 04 Jun 2018)
15 Jun 2018 (for decision by 18 Jun 2018)
09 Jul 2018 (for decision by 13 Jul 2018)
Eligibility: All scholarships are awarded on merit.
Students who have been offered a place on any of the INTO UEA International Foundation pathways may apply.
Application: Students must submit a completed scholarship application form with a 200-word personal statement to into@uea.ac.uk.
Your application will be assessed alongside academic qualifications and proof of English language levels.
All applications will be reviewed by a scholarship panel. If you are successful, you’ll be notified at the contact email specified in your scholarship application form.

Newton A-level Programme scholarships

INTO UEA are offering scholarships for Newton A-level students starting their course in September 2018 and January 2019.

Course/s: All Newton A-level pathways
Start dates September 2018
January 2019
Amount: Up to 50% tuition fee
Availability: Unlimited
Eligibility: Scholarships will be awarded based on:

  • School grades in relevant subjects.
  • Maths level
  • English level
  • Scholarship interview

Progression scholarships

The University of East Anglia offers a number of progression scholarships for high-achieving students progressing to UEA from INTO UEA.

International Foundation progression scholarship

Course/s: All International Foundation pathways
Start dates September 2018
Amount: £3,000 (year one only)
Availability: Unlimited
Eligibility: All scholarships are awarded on merit
Students must have:

  • an unconditional offer for a UEA degree programme
  • achieved 80% or above in their INTO UEA International Foundation programme

UEA Vice-Chancellor scholarships

  • Scholarships worth either 25% or 50% of tuition fees for each year of the UEA degree for students who progress to UEA with an unconditional offer.
  • International Foundation students must be nominated by their Programme Manager to be considered for the scholarship.
  • Scholarships are awarded in the form of a tuition fee discount, once you successfully progress from your INTO UEA programme.

Conditions

Successful scholarship holders will be expected to:

  • Successfully meet all remaining conditions for entry to their chosen course
  • Maintain excellent attendance and complete all work during their course.

  2. Be offered a place

Scholarships, discounts and bursaries awarded by INTO can’t usually be combined. Students will be awarded the reduction that is most beneficial to them.
