Manchester Metropolitan University is committed to recognising high-achieving students and we have a comprehensive range of scholarships available. Manchester Met is making a limited number of Vice-Chancellor scholarships available, each to the value of £5,000*. These scholarships are open to international students who enrol on a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate taught programme in September 2018 or January 2019.
You can apply for an award if you:
- are an international student (classified as ‘overseas’ for tuition fee purposes)
- and have been offered a place on a taught course starting in September 2018 or January 2019
- and are not currently registered on a course at Manchester Met

Please note, this scholarship cannot be combined with any other financial support from Manchester Met.
If you meet the above criteria, you will need to complete the scholarship application form.
For courses starting in September 2018, the deadline for receipt of applications is 18 May 2018. For courses starting in January 2019, the deadline for receipt of applications is 18 October 2018. Students will be notified if their application has been successful in June 2018 or November 2018 for courses starting in September and January, respectively.
* The scholarship amount quoted relates to the 2018/19 academic year and may change for the 2019/20 academic year.
Postgraduate Scholarships, September 2018 Entry
Manchester Met is providing scholarships of up to £2,000 for high achieving applicants. This scholarship is open to international students who enrol on a full-time postgraduate Masters programme and meet the eligibility criteria. The scholarship will be awarded automatically upon enrolment, no application is required. Please see the Postgraduate Scholarship Terms and Conditions for further details and eligibility criteria.
